 Athlete of the Week

Jeremy Ness is our athlete of the week. The senior football captain has led his team to a 3-1 start to the season with a win Friday night over Amity, in which Jeremy scored 3 touchdowns, had 5 tackles, 6 assists, and 1 tackle for loss. He has already rushed for 869 yards this season and has scored 10 touchdowns for the Eagles. Way to go Jeremy!

Eagles Football beats Amity on the Road 

The SC Eagles football team took down #11 Amity on their home field Friday night 28-20. After going into the locker room down 14-20 at half time, the Eagles showed their grit and toughness by holding Amity scoreless in the second half.



Coach Nosack praised the defense in the post-game huddle. Great team win Eagles!
With this win, the Eagles are 3-1 on the season and move up to #3 in the rankings. This Friday, they will take on #17 Blanchet Catholic at home.

Eagles Volleyball Takes Down #1 Dayton in a 3-1 Battle


The SC Eagles volleyball team beat #1 ranked Dayton at home on Tuesday 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 battle. Joya Euhus led the Eagles with 28 kills, 15 digs, and 3 aces.


Allison Curtis added in 14 kills, 13 digs, and 2 aces.


Setter Lexie Boshart contributed 37 assists and 14 digs. The Eagles also traveled to Willamina for a win on Thursday. The team is currently ranked #4 and will play just one match this coming week at Sheridan.

Girls Soccer News

The girls soccer team took a couple of tough losses this week to Central Linn and Siuslaw.

Boys Soccer Gets the Wins over La Pine & Crosshill Christian


The boys soccer team got 2 wins this week behind scores from Max David and Ami Cristostomo. The Eagles improved to 4-2-1 on the season, and are 2-0 in league.

Athlete of the Week


This week we are highlighting senior volleyball captain Joya Euhus as our player of the week. Over the past week in one tournament and two league games, Euhus amassed 120 kills, 63 digs, and 11 aces. She has committed to play volleyball for Division 1 Houston Christian University next year. Joya holds our school record for most kills in a single season at 391 (23-24 season).

SC Eagles Football Beats Willamina 42-6

Under the Friday night lights on our home field, the Santiam Christian Eagles varsity football team put on a show in toughness against a physical opponent, the Willamina Bulldogs.

Coach Justin Carley said two of his favorite moments of the game included kicker Max David getting a tackle on the kick return, and backup quarterback Matthias Leonard entering the game and running for a touchdown.

Eagles football currently stands at 2-1, ranked #5 in the state for 3A. Next Friday 9/27, the Eagles travel for a league football game to play #11 Amity. Please come and support!

Cross country awards from the home meet on September 19th. Diego Zambrano won the boy's race. 


Laynee Adkins-Stewart won the girl's race, with Samira Zambrano coming in 2nd.
